In the early hours of Friday, November 29, 2024, an incident unfolded in Adavi-Eba, Kogi State, where angry residents apprehended and brutally attacked a man accused of theft.
The suspect, who reportedly specializes in stealing phones and other valuables through house windows, was allegedly caught in the act by occupants of a house he attempted to rob.
During questioning, the man gave conflicting information about his origins, mentioning Nagazi and Ihima but failing to provide specific details.
Following the mob's actions, which left him severely injured, he was handed over to the appropriate authorities for further investigation.
