it’s 2025 and we’re already being again schooled about the magic that happens when Marshmello and the Jonas Brothers come together..
They did it before with “Leave Before You Love Me,” and they’ve done it again with “Slow Motion” – a slow catchy love song that gets decisively stuck in your head the first round in.
The song is about finding the right person that makes you want to slow down and enjoy things.
As the brothers tell us, they are “usually not the type of keep ’em waitin’ / Usually like to love and leave ’em fast.”
But finding the right person has changed this for them and now all they want to do is “take it slow, slow motion.” So yeah, it’s that love song.
The Jonas Brothers – Joe, Kevin, and Nick for the uninitiated – officially announced the release of “Slow Motion” during an interview with host Ryan Seacrest before taking to the stage for their slot on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.
At present, there’s no music video, even though I’m expecting that there might be one in the near future.

I think some of us are, at this moment, revisiting the video for the banger “Leave Before You Love Me,” where the brothers’ rooftop performance with Marshmellow will forever be seen as the epitome of performance art.
