well,as for me i dont see anythin wrong in telling the truth,cos those things you are concealing might reveal itself someday and that can lead to serious breakup of a serious and trusted relationship that was making headway.say it now cos whoever loves u doesnt care about ur past,but letting the cat out of the bag is important.So that when your partner is hit with the news it wont look like a taboo to him or her.

alot of guys like using the past against us when events presents itself.... so i guess we leave the past out and make the present relationship work to avoid blame and repetition of past occurrence... some people also uses past events to tempt the partner.... this might be so unhealthy and very wrong ....

It is not only good but essential and a wise thing to do. This is to avoid an ugly situation of the past coming from the blues to haunt your present......especially in terms of the 'bad' aspect...............This way, your conscience is free of guilt.
If s/he is urs, no matter how horrible ur past was, s/he would stay. But one must be ready for tantrums of one's partners in regards of the ugly past once-in-a-while.....unfortunate but inevitable in most cases.

it is a world of uncertainties. U may say, and he will start seeing u in a different light. U may not say, maybe later, somehow he finds out, then problem bursts....  I think, it's best when while discussing on a subject with him, u relate an experience u once had. If he asks u, tell him the sincere truth. Don't talk out everything...it may complicate things for u. But for some people, it boosts their trust.
