A 34-year-old housewife, Chundung Davou, has appeared before a Jos High Court for allegedly killing her husband’s girlfriend, Miss Stephenie Damang, the News Agency of Nigeria reports. The Assistant Director of Public Prosecution in the Plateau State Ministry of Justice, Mr. Olivian Milahan, told the court that the accused poured hot food on Damang, which led to her death. Milahan told the court that the accused violated the law by following the victim to her house and attacking her by pouring hot food on her body. The prosecutor said the accused committed culpable homicide, punishable by death, as the victim died because of the injuries she sustained during the attack. She said the accused committed the offence on March 5, 2009, contrary to Section 221 of the Penal Code Law. The prosecutor prayed the court to grant him special permission to tender exhibits and evidences that would convince the court that the accused committed culpable homicide. When the case came up for hearing, the accused pleaded not guilty to the charge, saying that she only went to the victim’s house to warn her. “My lord, I only went to her house to warn her to leave my husband alone, subsequently fighting erupted between me and her,” she said. Davou told the court that her husband’s girlfriend had attempted to burn her with the hot food before some people intervened and separated them. She further told the court that she was innocent, adding that that the deceased sustained burns during the fight that ensued between them. Davou said she did not know which part of the body that Damang sustained the burns while they were struggling with the pot of food. Justice Mohammed Sirajo adjourned the case till June 6 and ordered the accused to be remanded in prison custody.

When wil men be faithful? Are there really faithful men? They find joy cheating on their wife/gfrnd. And at the end disaster.
Cheating is not the perogative of men alone, it is also applicable to women. u could have said when will men and women remain stead fast with their spouse alone?
