Ladoja, in his message said the challenges facing Oyo State are great and prayed God to give Ajimobi the wisdom, patience and strength to face the challenges of transforming the state to a true pacesetter state.
He thanked his numerous supporters and all Accord Party members for their support and hardwork within the past four months of launching the party in the state. He assured the people that all elected Accord Party lawmakers would not betray the cause of oneness and progress of the state.
The Accord Party candidate in the election thanked the people for their support and for voting for him. He reassured all that the goals and ideas of the party would be continued by the elected legislators. He stated further that with Accord Party legislators in the parliament, the incoming government would not have an alternative but to do what was right.
Ladoja noted that the task ahead was not for one person but for everybody resident in the state. He urged Ajimobi to see all as one-people-with-one goal. He also implored him to reconcile all parties with a view to bringing peace, progress and development to the state.
Ladoja also thanked the security agents and pointed out that whatever success was recorded in the general elections, their contributions were outstanding stood out as relative peace and prompt arrest of possible situations that could blossom into a major crisis were nipped in the bud.
