This sound very precarious considering the state of things in d country right now. Quitting a job without having secured another job may not be the best thing to do as shown by recent experiences. But nevertheless, me thinks it is better to leave a place honourably by turning in one's resignation than going through the ignominy of being sacked (because loss of job is imminent anyway). So i would rather advise u 2 put ur hope and trust in God, consult him on what to do next and have a firm believe that no one can change God's plans and design for your life. U also need 2 be positive that if u eventually leave d place God in his infinite mercy will provide a better place 4 u.

Resign to hardship? at this point there will be no difference resigning and NOT, because if she resign, she might be forced to depend on another man for financial support, this can also turn out be like her boss's. I'll advice you to threaten him. From the statement you've made, i perceived you've patronized him quit well, tell him you're not cut-out for it anymore. just find a way to threaten him (With pregnancy, making it public, telling the law enforcement, charging him to court) etc. DON'T QUIT until you find alternative.
