I think we have conducted a good bit of research on this topic.
Tebali, to answer your question on this topic that you started.
Judging by the posts and level of uneducated Nigerians we have observed in this thread we can gather 3 things.
1. The level of education in Nigeria is at the bottom percentage of worlds schooling. This leads to people making their own biased opinions without doing research for themselves. Most of these bigoted Nigerians can barely spell, never mind read a book on HIV transmission statistics & facts.
2. The low level of education makes people look for answers in the easiest of places. (The bible). Through lack of education and any form of real intelligence it is the Nigerian way to attack anything they do not understand. Like homosegxwality. They find comfort in thinking they are "just" and "with the lord". Although there is no mention of homosegxwality ANYWHERE in the book of lies.
3. When Nigerians think of homosegxwality they almost always approach segxwal contact first. If you read through most of the posts in this thread, most of the undeveloped minds talk about "anal, nappys, pads, the toilet, sucking bananas".
Most gay people I know & myself included find that to be quite strange and disgusting that you would talk about things like that on an open forum.
What happens with a person in their own home i their own business. And im sure most homophobia comes from the fact that most people scared of gay people are actually gay themselves. And are just afraid to admit it.
You know the meaning of the word "gay"? It means "happy".

Well said; especially on the low levels of education/flaming ignorance and over-dependence on religion. It's funny how the poorer and more disadvantaged people are, the more religious they tend to be. Nothing wrong with getting some comfort for your heaven and an all-knowing-god who deems it fit for you to suffer your way to his paradise. Sure, your god meant for you to be slaves. Sure, your god sits back and let your pastors and leaders drain your pocket. It's almost like a mass-hypnosis. Any western psychologist/public speaker who moves to countries like nigeria will do sooo well as a pastor. See the likes of the pastor chris's. People just don't see how they're conned. If your god exists, he must have some really sadistic sense of humor. Everything in life is 50/50 whether you believe in some god or not. If prayer was a guarantee, ALL of you would be balling..i'm sure nobody prays for a mediocre life. Only the wise at the top know this and fool the downtrodden and y'all sit here and type away at things that don't affect you while your country is being looted. How backwards is that? You know the thing? It's only because you believe your god has given you your lot in life that stops you from killing the rich people who appreciate the fact that you got your nose so deep into the koran/bible. Its because gay people lack basic human rights. We are treated as an inferior entity due to our segxwal preference. I would love for the religious zealots, fundamentalists and bigots on this website to be alive in 200 years time. When we catch up to the western world in ways of thinking and freedoms these people talking about "thunder fire you" would look exactly like the idiots they are. I don't believe in god.
