D most painful aspect is dat when d person is alive, dey will nt spend such money on him bt at his/her death, dey will be competiting on who will bring d highest cow, wear d latest george/asho oke or jewelry. D most expensive tin in nigeria is burial ceremony. Some even go to d extent of celebrating d deceased 1st, 2nd...........6th, 7th and 8th burial. Everytin for naija na excess. Not all Africans, In Islam we don't spend much on burials it is the Christians that like doing that and it is not even religious. One even wonder where they inherit that tradition from because it's not biblical! Its becoming more like a fashion trend that changes with time. Reply
