Depends on what the relationship was based on and the reason why you people separated. If all you had with each other was sex, then there is really no use in giving each other a second chance. Unless, you guys did not see each other in the right perspective from the beginning. You only see things well when you look at them carefully a second time without all the tension of the first time you encountered it. But if all you guys were to each other was just sex partners, then it would be better to say good-bye and leave each other alone!
