every day different story from Naija this time generator don kill people. hmmm all this is the wickedness from our so called leaders
since i left Naija i never see generator anywhere or hear the sound of it. has it been that Naija has constant electricity i am sure there will be not such story. may the soul of this people rest in perfect peace. and may the punishment be upon our so called heatless leader. Amen

I am so tired of hearing about these kind of senseless deaths.  How many times have these same stories turn up here on this board and you want to tell me that ppl still do not know about the dangers of keeping generators indoors?  Are there no PSA in Nigeria warning ppl about these things?  And why do ppl depend on generators so much?  There are safety lanterns that can provide bright light similar to a 60 watt bulb and they are much safer than keeping a generator.  Yes, you may not get to plug in your electronics or fan, but you will wake up alive in the morning.  These generators are a nuisance to the ears, nose and the general environment with their toxic emission, how ppl live with these things is beyond me, they probably see it as a status symbol to have one. May the innocent children who lost their lives RIP.
