U are right bro......its about da mindset......i kindof think its a nigerian thing to be proud of our personality, not only the ones abroad...put a 9jeria, a Ghanaina, a Togolese, an Ivorian, a Kenya together and observe the attitude displayed by the assemply.  somehow 9jerians feels they are  a special breed..now if you feel that about yourself. kool..not some dumb arrogance though.....like i said its the mindset stuff.

Some nigerians abroad actually put up a front, feel cool with themselves & pretend 2 others whereas if one gets 2 know them, u'll then realise dat they have a low self-esteem. They behave in dat way so as 2 fit in.
Whereas a lot of nigerians back home have a high self esteem & r proud of themselves & believe that they r unique.

Also some nigerians back home make nigerians abroad feel special becos they think dat being abroad is d best thing dat can happen 2 anyone. Thereby they will dote on d person & be all over him/her (whether fake or genuine).

there r many fake pretenders in back home so dont make it sound like everybody outside nigeria is like dat..............if u want to be played....gal u will be played anywhere...naija or west side

When i make a contribution, i think be4 typing and give a fair opinion of d issue becos we all are distinct from various background, culture with different beliefs and values.
