Traffic light in relationships

Why is it that people find it hard to understand the traffic lights( Red, Green, Orange) when in a relationship or trying to start one?

lets say a guy/gal aint interested in a relationship and the other party kip pestering him/her, is it meant to be so? again sometyms an individual myt want a break, little space i guess it should be given. hope u hv been cleared?
