Funny tips.  But you got them right. My mom anytime she goes to naija, either she stays wit a friend or a family member. I grew up in naija so acting like a naija girl is not that hard for me. Hell i act like that sometimes in america.(Be proud of who you are, that's what i say, why change myself just cause i'm in another country). But you are right many ppl, even those that grew up in naija, and left, goes back and act stupid.
For example: When i used to live in nigeria, there's this man that lives in america, anytime(him and his family) comes home, they always flashing their money as if they loaded as hell, i used to think they were that's until i came to america and i finally saw that these ppl are suffering just to survive in this world. (just like the rest of us). And yet they waste thousands of money just they can boost to ppl that they in america(That's just stupid).

Be who you. And if you go to Naija, don't act like your better than the everyone, cause they will target if you do. Don't act westernized, act Nigerianized(or africanized or whatever).

Kinda funny to be tokin about safety tips in Naija.
Maybe safety tips abroad won't be out of place too. A friend just got robbed at schipol airport of all her cash on arrival just a few days back.
While we were at the police post reporting it, like 5 pips came in with different complaints ranging from passport theft to bags being snatched.
Made me feel like being back home in Naija.
Summary is, safety conciousness is required anywhere and everywhere, not just back in Naija Wink
