Nigeria’s camp opened on Monday ahead of their friendly clash with Egypt on April 12 in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates.
Eighteen out of the 26 invited players reported to the Super Eagles camp ahead of their trip to the Middle East to face the Pharaohs before their series of Africa Cup of Nations and World Cup qualification matches in June.
Missing from the camp is Gombe United striker and leading scorer in the Nigeria Premier League Mustapha Babadidi who is nursing an injury.
The squad will begin its training on Tuesday morning under the tutelage of Daniel Amokachi as head coach Stephen Keshi is away on leave.
The following is the list of players who are in camp:
Chigozie Agbim, Azubuike Egwueke, Sunday Mba, Ossai Uche, Ejike Uzoenyi, Adesope Hammed, Juwon Oshaniwa, Okemute Odah, Hassan Hussein, Shehu Maijema, Ogonna Uzochukwu, Nura Mohammed, Kalu Uche, Henry Uche, Solomon Jabason, Barnabas Imenger Jnr, Papa Idris Gabriel Reuben.
Many of them will be expected to return to their clubs by Thursday for weekend matches in the Nigeria Premier League as well as continental contests.
