A combine team of men of the Joint Military Task Force, codenamed "Operation Thunderstorm" has recently 'stormed' and dismantled two Illegal Refineries located in a thick forest in Egono and Agbede, Etsako West Local Government Area in Edo
State.
The illegal Refineries which were said to be operated by illegal Oil bunkerers in the area, were raided by the Security Agents following a tip-off from members of the Public.
The bunkerers who took to their heels on sighting the Task Force Members, left behind over 100 drums filled to the brim with refined products.

Reports had it that trouble started for the illicit traders when one of their members died in the forest. The relatives of the deceased fellow who might have had a glimpse on the where he died alerted Officials of the Pipeline Products Marketing Company (PPMC) on the activities of the Bunkerers who later contacted men  of the Joint Task Force who immediately swooped on them and brought their trade to an abrupt end.

While briefing Newmen on the development, Acting Commander of the Join Task Force,  Major Mohammed Abubakar who led the Soldiers on the Operation expressed gratitude to those who volunteered information to them, charging other members of the Public to follow suit; as they cannot work without information.

"We received information that these things were going on, so we came to destroy it, even though we were unable to make any arrest, it is our duty to destroy it even as we advice people to always give information to us"  he said

So if a member of their family who is a bunkeer didn't die, they won't notify d govt. Now, we have two types of oil bunkeers. Now, we have two types of oil bunkeers, d elite and d poor man. D elite are those govt rich people who assign oil well to themselves like an hausa fulani man up north who does nt have a single palm oil in his region but have over 20 oil wells. Why? Is he related to d oil producing region in anyway , NO . While d poor man bunkeers are d frustrated nigerians who are tired of seeing d govt eat dis oil money alone. Though i dnt support oil bunkeers but go raid govts first. Simple.
