Providing our children with good foundation in education is not a bad idea. But how do we guarantee that this "Almajiri Model Primary School" project is a solution to such problems as "Boko Haram" and Al-Qaeda ? Did the Mutallab boy attend Almajiri training before he graduated to "Baby Bomber" ? I'm afraid we are just throwing money around in order to satisfy political expediency. Time will tell.
