…. It is obvious you didn’t expect to see the continuation of this “WHO IS A WONDERFUL WOMAN” part two. I purposely stop where I stopped in the first part, because I want to see how those treated issues will solve and touch most of the women out there. Alas! It has proved beyond my initial expectation and this has forced me to conclude other parts of the WONDERFUL WOMAN. Though I am not feeling too strong but I am meaning to finish treating this aspect of discussion soonest.
SHE IS A BREAD WINNER FOR HER FAMILY: ‘She is like the merchants' ships;
she bringeth her food from afar.’ Have you one time or the other come across a merchants’ ship before? If you have, you will notice that what the ship would be loaded with are commodities to be sold. Remember we talked about talent earlier; she can use her talent, and when I mean by using her talent, if she is good in cooking she can cook to sell just to bring in money to support her family. Some might seek for employment using their talent in any organization they might belong and in return they get pay for what they do. Women like this found it easier to do grocery shopping on their won than waiting for their husband to provide the money.
SHE STARTS THE DAY EARLIER: ‘she riseth also while it is yet night’ you will totally agree with me that it is great benefits to rising up early. When you take time to study ants, you will found out that their foods are mostly gathered very early in the morning before the sun could rise. Same thing with a wonderful woman, before anyone of the household could wake up; she is already up and running. Most people take advantage of early hours like this to do many things quietly without been disturbed or distracted. It is also an ideal time to spend with the Lord in quiet meditation and prayer, starting the day with Him.
SHE PROVIDES FOOD FOR HER HOUSEHOLD: ‘she giveth meat to her household and a portion to her maidens.’ One of the reasons she wakes up so early is to provide food for the family. She prepares a very nutritional and nourishing meal for her family for breakfast and the rest of the day. Most women hardly cook for their family in the house, they eat in the restaurants and at times they order for food. Not because you have a tight schedule at work means the health of your family should be left at the mercy of a meal that you don’t know how it was prepared. As a wonderful woman you must know that; for them living in good health lies in your hands and not with eateries or fast-food, whichever name you call it.
SHE ACQUIRES GOOD THINGS: ‘she considereth a field, and buyeth it.’ In those days when a man acquires a field or land, he is seen has a rich man. Field here might not necessarily mean a piece of land; it might be a car, house etc. A wonderful woman, when she sees anything that can make her husband prosper she buys it with the concept of her husband, because her husband safely trust in her. Instead of thinking of what they can achieve to make their family a success, women of nowadays prefer to shop for their personal makeup, party clothes and lots of things that is unnecessary for the family in general.
SHE IS A CARETAKER: ‘with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard’ if you own a garden you will understand how tedious it can be to maintain, and time consuming too. A wonderful woman, after she as thought of good things for her household and acquired it, she won’t just stop there, she will go an extra mile to see that the good thing that was acquired is look after till when it is being pass on to her children as heritage.
SHE IS EVER READY: ‘She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.’ Becoming a wonderful woman isn’t something you can easily become. It takes lots of effort, energy (inner strength) and prayer to contend with every challenges that might come your way. They aren’t ignorant of marriage, family and their duties as a housewife. They are never found wanting in any aspect of their lives and they will keep fighting tooth and nail to remain that way. Before a man is set; they are ready to go. Nothing can get them slow down….. not financial problem, not housing problem, not feeding problem. They are overcomes, they never for once thought of failure in their lives. They feed on their inner strength than feeding on their sight. Lots of women are deceived by what they see and end up nowhere. If you desire to be somewhere tomorrow then you must be ready, and follow what the passage above says; ‘she girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.’ don’t be held down by that long robe you wearing, take them off and be ready to get your hands to working. Why you are a wonderful woman was because you are full of wonders if you must know………..
