I agree with you on the fact that the girl has not committed a criminal offence, but she has committed an immigration offence which can be punishable with deportation. I also agree with you on the fact that the British governed, colonised and possibly enslaved us in our own and their land. However, of fore fathers did not help matters by selling their own children to slavery!!. If you may no, the British shows that they are very ashamed of their fore fathers actions  and they have not stopped to apologise any time a slavery related discussion arises on official level.  Yet no one talks about our own people's involvement into slavery!!! and yes no one has apologised on behalf of our fore fathers till date!!! So, let us stop using this slaving bull shits to defend ourselves each we are accused of wrong doing! The truth is that slavery was wrong on both the whites and our fore fathers, it should not have happened but it did. So lets move on from it!!! Back to the point, if the girl wants to disappear, let her do so, good luck to her but please don't try to justify her actions with what happened in the past!!!!!

My Rejoinder:
You called slavery Bull Shit?
Let me begin by saying that you  have a soft heart for slavery and the perpetrators. You sounded very apologetic but I am not and I am not a timid either. I don’t know if you are a mulatto or white or black married to a Britton whatever the case may be I don’t care. In your own words: possibly enslaved (meaning not sure) the British shows that they are very ashamed of their fore fathers actions and they have not stopped to apologise any time a slavery related discussion arises on official level.  (Is that so? Show me the proof) So, let us stop using this slaving bull shits to defend ourselves each we are accused of wrong doing!
I am not a bull shitter maybe you are… When you talk about apology when was the apology issued and what year? We are talking about a formal apology not on one and one basis when someone says I am sorry halfheartedly in order to pilfer or rob us. They had the opportunity to do so in 2007 but failed. They’ll only say sorry when they want something from you.
***The video below is that what you call apology?***
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0qWkRrABXQ" target="_blank" class="aeva_link bbc_link new_win" rel="nofollow">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0qWkRrABXQ</a>

How would you feel if your language and culture were taken away from you? When you cannot even trace your own roots let alone identify or recognize your culture. I am not a direct descendant of a slave but a lot of my relatives are and I have heard a lot of stories. No doubt some of our accentors conspired with these bastards at a minimal level but they were overwhelmed. Maybe they did not do enough. But what do you do when you are occupied? After slavery then colonization coupled with exploitation.
You may not know what you are talking about. You did not understand my comments or call it my post. I was not and was not using slavery to justify the action of the poor lady. I am not advocating for reparation or any form of compensation or protest or anything else.  It was just an analogy pure and simple.  My concern is very simple that no one should condemn this lady let alone gang up on her if anything fingers should be pointed at the president and politicians of Cameroon. No one has the right to moralize on the lady in a situation like this. No one wants to leave his or her homeland, culture and seek refuge in another foreign land that is not welcoming.
I did not write history, history is not false and history will always influence the present and the future. Without history there’ll be no DNA, there will be no science, there will be no commerce and medicine will not improve just to mention a few.  What I am basically saying is, history does not lie and talking about history is perfectly normal and legitimate. My point is that migration will always occur. You have illegal immigrants in every country. People can easily rush to judgment. Did you forget “Ghana must go”
How many times have you witnessed an English person condemning a fellow citizen for committing a crime in Africa let alone entering the country illegally to stay and steal from us. A case in point just few days ago a Britton smuggled 18 million naira (hard currency) into Nigeria and got away with it.
Let’s forget about slavery for a moment what about now? We’re still being ripped off via trade agreements, money laundry (both sides. The exploitation continues. Divide and rule continues. Stolen properties (artifacts…etc.) not returned. Did you know every western national that worked in Nigeria on before independence is entitled to a lifetime pension even if they worked for one day before independence? Some even qualified as young as 20 years old.
Black Americans could not vote in USA until 1968 but Indian or immigrants could vote. The same year blacks were officially permitted to marry whites. What about apartheid South Africa, Zimbabwe (formerly known as Rhodesia) named after Cecil Rhodes who was the governor back then. Rhodesia became his property and made huge amount of money using forced labour including children. He eventually established Rhodes scholarship (blacks excluded) at least as of 1975 and I don’t know if anything has changed. He was a sadist. He meted out harsh punishment on any of these blacks found lazy by amputating their hands or fingers. Do you want to compare all these to a young lady violating the immigration laws?
The next you see a Jew tell him stop bull shitting about Hitler, Nazi and holocaust I can tell you’ll say that again in your life. You just don’t understand what the enslavement of Africans is all about.
I do not dwell in the past but we cannot forget the past but we can move on.
No wonder we have people like you in power today in Africa.

Dude i do understand what you meant, but the fact is that the Europeans and Americans are still reaping a lot from the slavery. Congo is still under France, they are yet to be independent. They came with the Bible to kill us spiritually and Guns to kill us physically. They may have taken away the chains, but they are still controlling our economy. The poor lady had no choice but to take off! like a bird who's cage was opened. We may have had a few greedy black bastards who decided to sell their fellow black men. Are they not the same people in power today?   We definitely need to review the issue of slavery and how it is affecting us. After all, our Elders used to say;  "When and child falls,he looks ahead, but when an Elderly falls,he looks behind"

Well said. You’re one the few that understood my point. Keep it up. We have a long way to go.

Why are people playing “Holy” The girl in question has not done anything bad compared to what Britons did to Africans. This is an immigration issue which is considered a poverty offence. The only thing that may happen to her is deportation I am sure she is aware of this. Give it few more days there will be more defections from other countries. Defections do occur in a situation like this and I can name some few Nigerians and Africans that defected over the years when the chance presented itself. She did not smuggle drugs or commit any serious offence. She will also find out that Africans are not welcome at all.
The so called Britons were not governed morally when they enslaved Africans for about 500 years. They almost destroyed our culture.  We could not speak our language other than English while going to school. They said our religion is evil and yet they used the bible and Christianity to enslave and commit all these crimes. They killed slaves that were stubborn. They raped our women during slavery produced light skin slaves for more money. African slaves were produced just like how cows and chickens are produced on a farm or poultry. We were sold and auctioned off like animals. They committed such a heinous crime against Africans and that crime is still going on till today thanks to our so called leaders. They are in possession of looted money from all over Africa. They can almost go to any country in Africa with a driver’s permit. They destroyed and pillaged that continent.

I wish the young lady the very best of luck.

Yes My brother,Africans need to wake up... I don't blame the lady but bad leadership that is so rampant in Africa.

Seconded, even in football, it happens...look back at the days of Celestine Babayaro in Chelsea, A white player called him a monkey and he never apologise but he was only asked to pay a fine cos its FIFA rule.

Luiz Suares of Liverpool used racist comments on Patrick Evra of Manchester United, he was banned for 8 matches with a fine but he never apologise.

My Team captain, John Terry of Chelsea used racist chants against Antoine ferdinand but never apologise.

My Guy,all this fine of a thing is only accounting to FIFA rule but not English rule, they are forced to start using the rule and now it's part of them.

Concerning the said APOLOGY, you are right cos I have never heard or seen when the British Government apologised to Africa in respect of slavery. The only country that apologised for similar action against another is the JAPANESE, when they apologised last year for their invasion of CHINA and the Prime minister was removed immediately by the Japanese legislative house.
