What about the FUEL TAX of 1.50k per litre, which is supposed to be used for road maintenance?
Something doesent add up here.

May I add that the 1.50k FUEL TAX was the reason OBASANJO demolished the former toll gates the first place. Come Oga Fashola, start being accountable and transparent from day one.

Since I was born I have not benefited anything from the Government, instead the government was the one befitting from me right from when I was a kid, and on top of it they still recreate new means to get more from me... is it when I'm dead that I will benefit something from my country.

If dem born u in a government hospital, ur parents go pay before dem go discharge ur mother....if u start going to school in a government schools...u go start paying school fees, PTA levies etc, including buying the books they introduce from them...for some of us wey grow up in the village,,,sometimes u pay for agriculture too...u go also pay in some exams like common entrance, waec, jamb, neco etc. if u get luck to attend higher institution na there payment nyafu nyafu......when u start working u start paying them tax/rate and before u build ur house u go pay them. if u be trader u go dey pay both local government and state government and they even no get shame to collect from hawkers too. if u take ur money buy car then u go pay government to give u driver license, car license and other car papers, u also pay for plate number even pay to police for not doing anything for u. dem put many road laws wey be say if u go against any u pay dem fine. if u don pay for road worthiness which is already in ur particulars why paying toll fee again. nothing wey government dey give for free....dem give u telephone, u pay for it....dem give light u pay for it...dem give water u pay for it....sometimes u give light to ur self and ur villages u also pay government before u do it....even for u to be a citizen of ur country, then u go pay government, if not why dem dey collect huge amount of money every five years to issue me passport from country wey be say my whole generation was born from there?. but the people wey dey in power dey get diplomatic passport for free of charge.

This government of thing I no understand...I see government as a few group of people exploring the masses.... The law they make only benefits them and few rich people....while the law is meant to oppress the poor masses. When shall I benefit something from my country as they benefited from me?

the one wey I still never understand be say since I was born Nigerian government dey sell all Naija natural resources even to Nigerians and dem no dey get mind take the money do tangible things for Nigerians, instead den dey device new means to get money from Nigerians pockets...I like Nigerians But sometimes I dey regret why I be Nigerian all the policies wey dem dey introduce na to add pain and hardship to the Nigerian wey dey suffer already...the recent BVN is example....some Nigerians abroad have to pay money to get some silly numbers for their own account, in the name of BVN.....some even paid hundreds and thousands of dollars to travel to the place where they get BVN centers....I still never understand.....why making it hard deadline process...
