![]() | ABC News September 12, 2012 Four bank robbery suspects led police on a wild, hour-long chase through the streets of downtown Los Angeles today, throwing money out the backseat window of their Volvo SUV. The suspects were believed to be responsible for a robbery at the Bank of America in Santa Clarita, Calif., that occurred shortly after 10 a.m. PST, reported ABC News’ Los Angeles station, KABC-TV. During the pursuit, which passed through downtown Los Angeles, people were seen running to pick up cash that was thrown from the vehicle, and even stepped in front of police cars to do so. Two suspects exited the SUV and fled the scene on foot. |

A large crowd surrounded the scene as officers cuffed the two men and took them into custody.
