Thank God She is not a Muslim Tongue Tongue Tongue
Youre not serious. You don't even know who/what she is. You don't have to have a Muslim name to be a Muslim, nor do you have to have a Christian  name to be Christian. Point is you don't know her so no need for judging

That's part of our problems not knowing much about our past...

This clip was emailed to me by a 12 year old girl as part of her project for “Black History Month” 2013.
Her question was why did we allow such a thing to go on for a long time

Civil Rights Movement: The 1964 Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party.

Published on Feb 15, 2013
Howard Kirschenbaum, professor emeritus and former chair of the Department of Counseling and Human Development at the Warner School of Education at the University of Rochester, was deeply involved in the Civil Rights Movement. A college student in the 1960s, he was part of the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party; participated in the 1963 March on Washington, where Dr. Martin Luther King delivered his famous "I Have a Dream Speech; was jailed on a Freedom Ride in Maryland; participated and was jailed in the Mississippi Summer Project of 1964 when three of his co-workers were murdered by the Ku Klux Klan; and witnessed the start of the Selma, Alabama freedom marches of 1965, among other activities.

Today, Dr. Kirschenbaum continues to share his own experiences with this period of segregation in U.S. history with various audiences through a combination of historic photographs and compelling stories. He recreates a volatile time in American history and the struggle of hundreds of thousands of Americans—black and white, young and old, north and south—to build a more just society.
