French side Monaco shows intense interest in  Nigerian and Chelsea midfielder John Mikel Obi.Big spenders Monaco joins the list of clubs keen on a move for Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel. The 26-year-old Nigerian international has attracted offers from Turkish side Galatasaray and Trabzonspor. Galatasaray where Ivorian and former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba currently plays are in a better position to close the deal with the Blues for the £16million central midfielder
Mikel, joined Chelsea in 2006 and was signed by Jose Mourinho - after a long-drawn-out transfer saga involving Manchester United and Norwegian side Lyn Oslo.
