The Forbes Magazine named Mrs Alakija as the richest woman in Africa according to its November 2012 edition while Wikipedia described her as the richest Black woman on earth with an estimated net worth of $3.2 billion.
The poster, bearing the photograph of the international businesswoman, who is also into oil and gas, bears the inscripition: Lagos 2015, Vote Folorunso Alakija for governor in Lagos 2015 Election.
However, findings are yet to show if any of the posters have been sighted anywhere in Lagos, just as the woman is yet to be identified with any of the political parties in the state.
A politician in the state, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said he had never seen Alakija in any political gathering or identified her with any political party in the state.
