Tyra Banks is said to have a new man in her life… and he’s a billionaire to boot. According to reports, the supermodel-turned-media mogul is dating Iranian-born Shervin Pishevar, who is the Strategic Advisor and Board Observer at Uber Technologies. The Silicon Valley-based recent divorcee and his new lady love have been spotted spending time together around the San Francisco Bay Area, dining at restaurants including South Of Market and the exclusive members-only The Battery social club. And by all accounts their romance is going from strength to strength. A source close to the couple, who have been dating for several months, reveals the two even ‘vacationed near St Barts over the holidays’, suggesting things are already quite serious. The couple no doubt bonded over their business acumen, with 40-year-old Tyra herself being a successful businesswoman, with the America’s Next Top Model franchise and Fierce Capital investment firm to her name. She also graduated from Harvard’s Executive Education Training Program in February 2012.
Along with being an early investor in private car service Uber, Shervin is a Co-Founder of Sherpa Ventures, the Managing Director and Venture Advisor of Menlo Venures, sits on the Board Of Advisors of comScore, Inc and is a Founder and Executive Chairman of Social Gaming Network (SGN) and an Angel of Angel Investor. The University Of Berkeley-educated billionaire and his then-wife, Anahita Pishevar, are reported to have donated a whopping $700,000 to President Obama’s last campaign. Tyra is notoriously private when it comes to her personal life, keeping the majority of her relationships under wraps over the years.
