In the furnace of hardship, most Nigerians have lost their moral compass, and therefore are consigned to wander in the mephitic maze of corruption, Now corruption seems to be embedded in the psyche of most Nigerians,  especially our politicians who are clearly without inhibitions,  even in the face of mass suffering , they have divorced themselves from all human sympathies, and still walk the aisle of despoliation,   because of the power that accrues from their office, our politicians now see themselves as gods, they believe there would be no consequences for anything they did.   
 Our politicians are unspeakably vicious and relentless in their pursuit of selfish riches,  Considering their potential for brutality, who will dare to raise a voice of protest against them ?  Unless you're among the favored few you'd be hacked down with such cruelty that would make pitiless predations of the vampires seem genteel .
