People who do not step out of Nigeria and visit other foriegn lands may never expwrience racism.
However, a Nigerian who has crossed the "border" into a different language speaking part of Nigeria will be treated differently and be grouped into either an Easterner, Westerner or Northener! The fact that you may be for instance be an Igbo fluent in Hausa does not make you one of them and you will be reminded of this everyday.
I know pepole turned down for a job, despite having the qualifiications because their STATE OF ORIGIN is the "WRONG"one! And marrying outside of your state of origin will not save you. Ask those who suffered during the last civil war in Nigeria.
I cannot understand why people of a different skin colour should hate me because I am BLACK - but hating me when I ORIGINATE from the SAME country but belong to a DIFFERENT TRIBE is MUCH MORE PAINFUL!!!
We should get to know each other as FELLOW NIGERIANS and not be judged on our STATE OF ORIGIN!!!!! Would love to debate you on this topic based on your past comments and posts.

Tribalism is known as the grouping and organizing of people into tribes. A tribe would also be a result of the same beliefs and religious and ethnic culture of the group of people that have decided to follow each other within their group.
Racism is the belief that a certain race of people, usually of the same color tend to have specific attributes that make them superior to other races and thus undermining the other races that are not of their own race.
Please recheck your dictionary.
