The question now is "how long has the road existed?"
Moreover, if stopping women in trousers from using the road is for security reasons, I wonder what they'll do to those wearing flared skirts. Because, in my opinion, it's easier to hide a bomb or a gun in skirts or hijab than in trousers.

if the church decide today to  fence their church  round what will you do once it is their property and you want to use it so abide  by their condition period ,  personally i do not go against women wearing trouser but with decency but to another person's property you have no right to tell him what to do with it or the condition he place on it therefore it is left for you to accept the condition if you want to use it or you find alternative whether it is the only way to the express or not
But if it is community road,public road or govt road so the church therefore have no right to question the users

low mentality,,,,,i was once thinking that women wearing  trausers is a sin but now that i'm mature in faith i noticed that GOD never said  that women should not wear trouser,deutronomew 22 verces 5 said let no woman wear what is made for a man,,is just to avoid homosegxwals and lesbians,that is why a man has to be a man always and woman to be woman always in their dressing,,but in this case the ladies has their own trousers is only some of the homosegxwals and lesbians that  wear clothes of the opposite sex,,the trausers that women wear is not made for men but for women and any man that wears it will be the one breaking the law
