Is the internet a good way to meet new people? (Page 3)

I think it is a good way to meet people. It probably works better for the women, since they get more replies/e-mails than the guys. Also, the internet gives people total control over how much of themselves they reveal. This works especially well for the women, since they can filter out the perverts and weirdos. In a way though, its almost like there are too many choices, so its too easy for someone to be too picky or too indecisive.
