Why are our girls so dependent?

I don't know if it has come to your notice but most of our girls seem to depend so much on their guys.If you are of the same opinion, what could be the reason behind this?

Personally I dont like the idea of an independent girl. If a woman can do for herself I'd still like to know she wants me to do for her what is naturally my responsiblity to do.

A semi-dependent girl is ok financially or emotionally.

Too dependent can be tasking and very frustrating. Not my type at all.

I guess I am an old fashioned guy.
