
Manchester United were almost stunned in the first minute but they survived to pick up their most comfortable win of the season, beating Cambridge 3-0 at Old Trafford to qualify for the fifth round of the FA cup.

Rojo made it 2-0 in the 32nd minute after Fellaini’s initial shot was blocked, the rebound fell to Van Persie who dinked a cross onto Rojo who made no mistake with his head from six yards. Manchester United controlled the second half but some dogged defending by Cambridge kept them at bay until James Wilson who came on for Van Persie received the ball in the 74th minute and ran at the Cambridge defense before releasing a low drive into the bottom corner to make it 3-0.
Manchester United would now play Preston in the 5th round of the FA cup after Preston also won their replay against Sheffield United.
