The Peoples Democratic Party’s Engr. Dave Umahi has been declared winner of the gubernatorial elections in Ebonyi state.

Umahi who was formerly the state’s deputy governor, scored a total of 289, 867 votes to beat his closest rival, the Labour Party’s Edward Nkwegu, who polled 124, 817. The governorship candidate of APC, Senator Julius Ucha came third position with 27, 583.
