Popular Comic Actress, Funke "Jenifa" Akindele Clocks 38 Years Old

Nigerian actress Funke Akindele is a year older today August 24th. The admirable actress is one of Nigeria’s biggest artists and has been a success since her break out about 8 years ago today.

The maker of Jenifa 2009 a hit comedy and educating Yoruba movie came to limelight by featuring in TV drama, ‘I Need To Know’ as student.She is today 38 years old
Jenifa, as fondly called, studied Mass Communication at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic then Ogun State Polytechnic and later went for degree in Law at Lagos state University which qualified her as a law practitioner. Funke who currently has a TV series Jenifa’s diary which airs on AIT and NTA won the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actress.
The birthday girl has written a message on Instagram gratitude to God. “Happy Birthday to me! The Lord has been so good to me,he’s seen me through a lot of troubled times. He has put a new song in my mouth, he has continually blessed the work of my hands. Who am I without you Lord. Opo ojo lo ti ro,ti Ile ti fi mu. Ose Oluwa #thankyouLord for the gift of Life. #birthdaygirl.” Funke Akindele was previously married to Kehinde Oloyede. The marriage didn’t last a year.

She was born in Ikorodu

Her breaktru wasn't 8yrs ago. Funk was already known all over 9ja entertainment industry in d late 1990s when d 'I need to know series aired'. Was addicted 2 DAT series Bk in d day
