Ex-Rivers Lawmaker Who Recently Decamped to APC, Shot Dead in Port Harcourt

Monday Eleanya aka “World Bank” was gunned down yesterday in Port Harcourt after being accosted by suspected assassins while driving out of his house along Ada George road. He was a top PDP member until few months ago when he defected to APC.
He represented Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni constituency in Rivers State House of Assembly between 1999 to 2003 under the platform of the PDP under the leadership of former governor Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi as the Speaker
