Son poisons father’s food in Katsina

Fourteen year old Abubakar Buhari of Kadandani village in Rimi Local Government Area of Katsina State at the weekend killed his father by poisoning his food. The boy told the police he killed his father because he maltreated him. Our correspondent gathered that the suspect poured some poisonous substances into his father Mallam Buhari’s food. He said Malam Buhari had been maltreating him since he divorced his mother.

Spokesman of the Katsina State Police Command ASP Alasan U. Kimba, who confirmed the incident, said Malam Buhari was confirmed dead at the Rimi General Hospital where he was rushed to shortly after eating the poisoned food.  He said the suspect had already confessed to the crime. Speaking to our correspondent, the alleged killer Abubakar Buhari said he tricked his stepmother into giving him his father’s food, saying his father sent him to collect it.  He added that it was after collecting the food that he poured poisonous substances into it. The suspect is now in police custody in Katsina.

is in blood of northners, they like to kill all the time, every day killing in  the north
Am not surprised if a 14 year old boy knows what a poisionous substance is, its a pity what d north is turning into, i think this issue of divorce and marry as many as four wives in islam is a tregedy! sorry to say, but its a pity, may his soul rest in peace!
