Your claim that 65 to 70 percent of the Nigerian populations are muslims, I state that the Fulanis have obviously committed genocide in Nigeria when they have eliminated so many christians because in the past census, the population of christians compared to muslims were 50/50 in Nigeria. The country cannot operate under religious sects but must operate as a secular society in order for things to work peacefully. There are too many other religions in Nigeria that are not being treated the same way. The Fulanis conquering the Hausas and keeping them into servitude for generations without giving them leadership authority or education needs to be looked at as well. The legitimacy of Fulanis in Nigeria needs to be addressed as well. The moslems cannot use the national budget as if it is their own central bank of Nigeria for them to use in the worship of their god. Your god should be able to supply all your needs and should not depend on that national cake. Allocating these funds to people that do not need it except for them to travel on religious pilgrimage while the rest of the nations are living in poverty needs complete over haul on how budget is allocated in the future. You see I still maintain,if Nigeria claim to be one why can't an Easterner be free in the North or vice versa.The issue is that all these people are forced to be one due to one selfish interests and reasons so far.When you take your time to read from every body's view be it Christians or Muslims,Hausas ,Igbos,Yerubas and so on what you see in most cases are pure hatred on each other.When shall we learn to put our differences aside and learn to at least tolerate one another.That will do us a lot good if we claim to be one Nigeria. Let me tell you a story.One day I was in Aba in Abia State.While I was at the Cemetery mkt I saw some Hausa business men lamenting who brought some water melon and some other Agricultural food sturfs from the North.I could see in those Hausa men been really treated bad I was moved to ask what was going on and after the explanations I came to realize that some group of guys from Aba were trying to collect an illegal revenue from this business guys from the North unlawfully after they have paid the actual duties.I went to the group in question and pleaded on behalf of those Northerners but unfortunately those guys turned against me and even wanted to fight me if not I was gentle,I imagined me with Agboro (Tauts) fighting I have never fought or been beating up for over 18 years I traveled out of Nigeria,the whole thing was strange to my understanding.I was shocked the way those guys refused to understand.I then asked them if the same should happen to them while in the North you guys will complain why not show an example being peaceful and show hospitality to these traders from the North.Just to cut my story short,Let every Nigerian try to tolerate (if not love) each other no matter our differences in tribe,religion and so on! That is the only way forward if we insist in building a strong nation. Reply
