The decision had come after Big Brother exposed a plot between Kemen and Marvis in a video he played on screen to the Housemates. A furious Big Brother sentenced Kemen and Marvis to the isolation booth and also, withdrew Bisola and Bally’s earned advantages. Big Brother had also earlier in the day issued a warning to fake Housemates, Jon and Ese, after he screened their conspiracy and scolded them for breaking the rules.
Biggie’s decision had a serious effect on the #BBNaija housemates as they were now at the mercy of Big Brother, who will not be revealing the identities of the Housemates for possible eviction to them but will share the information with the voting public. The result of the annulled Nominations of the week saw fake Housemates Ese and Jon – having the highest number of Nominations, with Ese having 6, Jon having 4, followed by Uriel who also had four Nominations. However, the results will no longer hold, as Big Brother will make his selection for the week.
Not long after the #BBNaija housemates had breakfast, a few of them sat at a table discussing immunizations and vaccinations, before the conversations turned to the English language. ThinTallTony and Jon decided it was best to correct the way their fellow #BBNaija Housemate Efe, used and pronounced certain words and this resulted in a highlight of the different pronunciations of words from the British and the American perspective, with Efe pronouncing some words from his own ‘Nigerian’.
Efe was adamant about the way he pronounced some words, saying he didn’t feel the need to change the way he spoke to suit others as the English language wasn’t his original mother tongue. He also noted the differences between the British English and the American English and the way it was spoken. Efe also went ahead to add that if the Americans could change the way they pronounced some words, even though a number of them migrated from the British, then there was no reason why he should change the way he pronounced some words.
Do you agree with Efe?
