Former Vice President during the Obasanjo regime Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has once again witnessed the harsh ‘tongue’ of the Nigeria Twitter after he unwittingly posted a nice photo of himself all dressed up on his farm. Atiku might not have had trouble with the Twitter family if he had simply posted the photo and left it without a caption, but he stepped on the cobra’s tail with the caption “Farming Season”.
This caption did not go down well with folks on Twitter who swiftly persuade him to see that he was wearing a Rolex, an expensive shoe and a very nice regalia! In quick succession, the comments flooded his timeline. From insults to questions… Questions the former VP could not easily respond to. Not a few asked him how he managed to keep his regalia spotless and his cap straight while about the rigorous business if ‘farming’. The comments have not stopped rolling in, leaving the ‘Atikulated’ Atiku wondering what he did wrong. In an attempt at defending himself, Atiku tweeted thstvhe has owned the farm for decades with hundreds of workers under him “Does that make me less of a farmer?” To which another twitter user responded that ‘real farmers don’t have time to snap pictures or dress in agbada or post on twitter!”
