Asamoah Gyan has received an honorary doctorate from the Alfred Nobel University in the Ukraine.

The 31 year old was honoured for his outstanding leadership, typified by his exemplary career which has seen him become the highest goal scorer in the history of the Ghana Black Stars.

Gyan was presented with the award at a ceremony held on Saturday.

Other recipients of Alfred Nobel University doctorates include Chief executive officer of Taabea Group of Companies, Christian Akwasi Agyemang, Reverend Dr. Gifty Lamptey, Nana Kwaku Agyiri Aggrey and others.

Hmm other ones there with him look purely academic but his hair and countenance single him out as a man whose money bought him the unexpected. Congrats Asa-Amu oh sorry Asamoah.I hope this awarding of degree to him does not make some poor hardworking student hopeless.Academically hopeless.
