The Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Farouk Umar, has declared that President Muhammadu Buhari’s second term bid in 2019 was unstoppable.

Umar said no mortal can stop Buhari from being re-elected next year.

Speaking when he received a former Governor of Abia State, Orji Kalu in his palace yesterday, the monarch also warned against frustrating Buhari’s re-election bid because, “God will shame them.”

According to Umar, “No mortal power will prevent Buhari’s re-election. He has five more years to go from date.

“At the end of his second term tenure ,Nigerians will even crave for his third term, because of what he might have achieved, God will shame any one against Buhari’s re-election.

Kalu who spoke at the Emir’s palace said some people are bent on frustrating Buhari’s re-election bid.

Noting that such effort will not yield any fruit, Kalu said a prominent figure from the Southern part of the country was among those spearheading the issue.

He said the President has, “performed excellently in various sectors especially in addressing the problem of corruption” which had given the county a bad name for many years.

“Buhari deserves re-election not criticism to enable him complete the good work he has begun for the country.”

Thank God you said "re-election", not "re-appointment"..... In election, it is the people's choice that matters, not yours.

What's wrong with our elders in this continent? What legacy do you all want to leave behind for the next generation? Can't you ever teach us good things?!

It pains my heart to hear community leaders making such remarks.
It doesn't speak well of us as a democratic nation. Seondly you aren't God. What if God strikes him dead today?
So leave politics to those in the business and do your duty at settling district and local fueds and the likes.

if the people knew the true power they had and have mastered it, then that fool will be ashamed immediately, that he made such statement, and he will hide under the rock immediately.

The choice of people matters. Buhari has failed woefully in all ramifications. He came to steal, kill and to destroy. He has achieved all that.
