BREAKING NEWS! UK Recognizes Buhari's Victory, Theresa May Calls To Congratulate Buhari

In what may be perceived as a major blow to Atiku Abubakar's campaign against the recently announced presidential election results, the UK Prime Minister, Theresa may has acknowledged that President Buhari is the new and rightfully elected president of the country as she congratulated Muhammadu Buhari on his victory at the polls.

May in a terse statement expressed optimism in future UK-Nigeria relationship following Buhari’s victory.

The statement read: “Congratulations Buhari.I witnessed first-hand the importance of the UK-Nigeria relationship during my trip last year
