An 18-year-old Nigerian freshman at Prairie View A&M University in Texas has been arrested pouring bleach in her roommate’s eyes during an argument, WFAA reported.
Brianna Esomchukwu was booked on an aggravated assault charge on March 8, 2019.
According to Prairie View A&M University Chief of Police, Keith Jemison, Esomchukwu's roommate, 19-year-old Julisha Wyatt, had bleach in her eyes and had minor burns on her skin. .
Speaking to WFAA, Wyatt's mom said that there had been some friction between the roommates - particularly since Wyatt complained to a resident advisor that their on-campus apartment smelled like marijuana, which they think contributed to the incident.
