Popular Instagram celebrity, Jaruma Empire and Reno Omokri, a former media aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, has lauded business mogul, Femi Otedola for donating N5bn to Cuppy Foundation.
The brain behind Cuppy Foundation is celebrity Disc Jockey, DJ Cuppy. Her father spoke through Cuppy’s sister, Tolani Otedola to make the announcement at the recently concluded ‘Gold Gala’, held at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja. His friend, who is also Cuppy’s godfather, Aliko Dangote donated N100m. Otedola was giving a standing ovation for his donation to support the cause of his daughter.
Omokri who has been a staunch critic of the present government via his Twitter page lambasted those from Northeastern Nigeria displaying their wealth and are surrounded by poverty.
