The Leicester City of England defensive midfielder is ranked number 51 on the list, according to Statisticians at the CIES Football Observatory.
Ndidi garnered 323 points to place 66th along with Manchester City star Bernardo Silva and Fenerbahce’s Serdar Aziz.
The second best Nigerian player listed is Queens Park Rangers attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze (302), who is having his best season as a professional, netting nine goals in 20 Championship games while providing four assists.
Joint-top scorer in the Dutch Eredivisie, Cyriel Dessers, who recently elected to represent Nigeria at international level, comes next with 301 points.
Nantes winger Moses Simon and Torino’s Ola Aina complete the top five best-ranked Nigerian players.
