Coronavirus Kills Real Madrid's President, Lorenzo Sanz At Tender Age of 76

Former Real Madrid president has lost the battle to COVID-19 Coronavirus, Lorenzo Sanz was diagnosed with the virus just a week ago but was unfortunaltely unable to recover from the deadly virus. His death was announced on twitter by his son who wrote:

'My father has just died. He did not deserve this end in this manner. One of the best, most courageous and hard-working people I have seen in my life. His family and Real Madrid were his passion.

 After testing positive for COVID-19, the infection gave him kidney failure and he died on Saturday night. Sanz was a director at Real from 1985 to 1995 before taking over as President, a position he held until 2000.
