UK Accounts For The Highest Number Of COVID-19 Death In Europe

Despite having one of the most advanced healthcare system, the United Kingdom of Great Britain has now accounted for the second highest number of COVID-19 death in the world and the highest number of deaths in Europe. The numbers also look to rise as more casualties that passed on at home or in a care home are yet to be tallied up to the total number. The BBC shared the new damning statistics which comes as a blow to the Tory conservative led government who are notoriously known for the very harsh cut of public service funds and the general austerity policy which the government pursued for so long. The important issue is the fact that most of the victims are from minority groups who are known to have poorer health services due to general poverty and lack of education. The government has not yet commented on this new development as at the time of filing this report.
