Nigerian rapper, Olanrewaju Ogumefun, alias Vector, has stated that Nigerians should stop belittling their native language.

The ‘King Kong’ crooner took to his Twitter page on Tuesday morning to share a video of popular comedian, Lekan King Kong saying that his native language should not be disrespected.


Concurring with the comedian’s words, the award-winning hip hop artist wrote:

”Yoruba is Yoruba If we can call “ English “ English. To those who don’t understand, he just said never belittle or make a mockery of your own native language. Read somewhere that America is hiring Yoruba and Hausa teachers now. E get why.”
