A Nigerian lady has set new standards for her fellow women to adopt before deciding to accept their boyfriend’s marriage proposal. The woman identified as Ibekwe Chioma Ubine, stated that men should be able to feed themselves properly before thinking of settling down, noting that a man who’s not financially stable should never consider marriage.

She then advised women to ensure that their suitor makes at least 100k daily before they accept his marriage proposal. Chioma, in a post on her Facebook page, explained that women are created to be helpmates and not laborers.

Her words; ”Before you as a man think of marriage, make sure you can provide your self 3 square meal a day. You can’t be broke and empty and be looking for someones daughter to drag into shame and famine.Ladies please take note: Before you accept a man’s proposal.. make sure his daily financial income ranges from 100k and above….We are help mate and not laborers.”

What happens to those whose daily income may not be up to 100k before marriage whom God can bless beyond measures after tying the knot?  So many people started with next to nothing but God has blessed them mightily today. Yes, it is good to work hard but in all, let God be the pillar and ask Him for wisdom on how to run your marriage. Stop generalizing issues, leave people to make their decisions please.

She may be right cos marrying someone daughter in this present situation of the country may bring hardship and poverty if the man didn't plan well before marrying, marriage entails a man to be very financially stable,yes she is right,you don't have to tongue lash her pray for God to increase your account balance that's if u work hard and smart

So her father was making an average of N 3 million before he married her mana? Unfortunately, most of those setting this kind of standard are from poor homes.
