The All Progressives Congress’s Bola Tinubu has named Senator Kashim Shettima as his vice presidential running mate.

Here are five quick details you should be aware of:

1. On September 2, 1966, Shettima was born.
2. He currently serves as Borno Central’s senator and was formerly Borno State’s governor.
3. He has an Agricultural Economics bachelor’s degree from the University of Maiduguri and an Agricultural Economics master’s degree from the University of Ibadan.
4. Shettima worked as a banker prior to entering politics.
5. He is wed to Nana Shettima, and the couple has three kids—two girls and a boy.
