Abductors of Nollywood stars, Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel, aka Agbogidi, have established contacts with their families and are demanding $100,000 to set them free.

The two members of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel aka (Agbogidi) were reported missing after their family members confirmed they did not come back from a film Location at Ozalla Town, Enugu state.

The two actors were suspected to have been kidnapped and this has increased fear amongst members of the Guild about the safety of Actors filming in the country.
But the National President of the Guild, Ejezie Emeka Rollas said the kidnappers had established contact with the families of the victims.

He said they had demanded $100,000 to set the actors free.

Rollas told Premium Times that they were praying to God for His intervention and for Him to put confusion in their midst.

“The kidnappers have made contact with the families and are demanding the sum of $100,000. We pray to God for his intervention and for Him to put confusion in their midst,” he said.
Rollas added that the Guild was working closely with different security operatives to get the kidnapped actors released.

He said the Guild was not sure of what to expect from them as the same thing was happening everywhere in the country.

“We are also working closely with the different security operatives, but we are not sure what to expect from them because the same thing is happening everywhere in the country,” he stated.

If bandits make contact through phone calls, why is it that Nigeria police department cannot use the number to trace them? Or is it that Nigeria don't have such facilities?
