Former England forward, Emile Heskey has advised Liverpool to sign Victor Osimhen.

Liverpool are reportedly among the clubs interested in signing Osimhen from Serie A club, Napoli.

Fellow Premier League clubs, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, as well as European champions, Real Madrid are also credited with an interest in the Nigeria international.
The 23-year-old has scored 10 goals and recorded three assists in 14 appearances across all competitions for Napoli this season.

The Nigeria international was recently named “Emerging Young Player of the Year” at the Global Soccer Award in Doha, Qatar.

“He (Osimhen) would certainly give them something different to what they have now,” Heskey noted. “He’s different to Nunez who can play out wide; Osimhen would be that central goal threat,” Heskey told Anfield Watch.

“He’s quick, has an eye for goal, and can finish really well with both feet. He’s a top player. I think Napoli paid quite a lot for him, so that’s why he’s commanding a €100m transfer fee.

Osimhen joined Napoli from Ligue 1 club, Lille, in 2020 and has a contract until 2025.

Napoli are not willing to sell Osimhen in January, and any potential deal will be done next summer.

Their €100m price tag could also ward off the interest of interested clubs.

You value Halland at close to 200 Million Euros, Mbappe at same or more, but 100 Million can ward off Osimhen's suitors? I don't even know what to call this. When Halland was at Dortmund, a club in the same range as Napoli, he did not do better than what Osimhen is doing now. If Osimhen goes to a complete club like Man. City, he may even do better than what Halland is doing now, so why is Halland rated at up to 100 Million Euros more than him if not bias?
